The Christian lifestyle has got a great deal to say about healthy family life. So, it ought to come as no surprise to anyone that family life is high on the agenda at 5TCF. Our worship services are testament to that, with children actively involved throughout the service, either as part of the main service or in their own dedicated program of teaching and activities - in what we call gold, silver and glitter classes.
In the rest of our program, you will find us actively involved in promoting Christian values in the context of families - working towards God’s ideal of a loving, married couple providing love, care and nurture to the children that God has entrusted to them. Basically, we do what we can to helping families work and to support parents in the all important job of raising their children.

At the younger end of the age range, 5TCF’s Busybodies has provided a service to parents and carers and their children of pre-school age. Because of its popularity and the space required for the equipment, it operates in Castleford town centre at the Trinity Methodist Church Hall in Powell Street—on Tuesdays and Fridays during term-time.
As the kids get older, our G4orce program provides a safe and stimulating environment in which they can develop their social skills and, just as importantly, have fun with their friends. Our football program has a similar objective.
We’re confident that you will find 5TCF more than just family-friendly - it is a family.
Into young adulthood, our youth program concentrates on helping teenagers face the challenges of growing up in an society that applies increasing influence on them. We aim to help them explore how the Christian faith is relevant to someone growing up in this generation.
